Date Range
Use Date Range when users need to enter a start date and an end date together.
Date Range is a compound field. It stores Start Date and End Date together.

Configure
Date Range uses a template with Start Date and End Date. Use separate Date fields when the dates are unrelated.
Validation
Validation for template subfields is reviewed from the template. Use Date Range only when both dates belong together.
